I'd like to 1.) combine them into one form with a checkbox option to cross post to twitter or not and 2.) have it take username/password inputs instead of it using the credentials within the wp admin console under the twitter tools configs.

If you follow the link I pasted to the custom fields page on WP above, you can see how to implement thumbnails. It's not that hard at all.

An overview for you:
- Upload an image that you want to serve as a thumbnail to a post, but don't embed it in the post
- Get the image ID from the Media Library in your Wordpress Admin
- Back in the post, create a custom field named "thumbnail" and as a value, enter the image ID
- In your search PHP file, put the code taghaboy posted above in the wordpress loop where you want the thumbnail to appear. Replace "petit" with "thumbnail"
- That's it

- To display the join date you could do something like: <?php aleph_the_user_registration_date(); ?> in the user loop.
- To display the location, you need a custom field per user named 'from'. Currently, bbPress includes this custom field. It can be printed per user using the function <?php aleph_the_user_location(); ?>.
- To display the "Add Contact" link, use the following: <?php aleph_the_taxonomy_link('author-contacts'); ?>.
- To display the picture, you can use: <?php aleph_the_user_avatar(); ?>. If you want to link the picture to the upload form you need to place a link to the profile in the dashboard. It could be something like <a href="LINK_TO_YOUR_DASHBOARD"><?php aleph_the_user_avatar(); ?></a>.

I am transferring my blog to another host, and will keep the same domain. Before I change name servers, I would like to transfer the blog to the new host - so I need to be able to look at it with a browser to make sure everything works as it should.

My problem is that when I go to the "ugly url" provided to me by my new host, it redirects me to the domain (which is still pointing to the old server). Is there a way to prevent this redirect?

I have tried two things so far:

1. I changed the table called "siteurl" to the new url but it still redirects to the domain name
2. I looked at the .htaccess file, but it is blank.

I want the category page to show a shortened version of the post (limited to about 200 characters).

I found a mod which does it for all the catagories.

Any idea on my two issues? I need to release my blog and I need these issues dealt with or else I will have to try another plug-in.

on my first issue the same video can be replayed after it is completed but no others.
